Room for dessert

YES, there's always room for dessert! Spotted out a small shop crowded with people sitting by the bar, enjoying their Saturday afternoon with a cup of coffee & dessert. I had a fruit on the side waffle with a scoop of yoghurt! But I still haven't found the BEST yoghurt in the world! The best is still in New York's Bloomingdales cafe and restaurant "Forty Carrots"!

Spring time for p2oodle

Local trip advisor recommended a hike up "eighteen peak mountain" in Hsin Chu~ so we postponed our daily trip back to the city this past week. And took p2oodle along on our hike in her spongebob squarepants backpack. There were way too much to see on our way up the hill, flowers, greenery, kids painting, and met a few fellow pet friends :Plet me roam free~~
We met so many fellow friends, probably all of the dogs living in Hsin Chu~

My Mind Map

Kudos to friends who left me comments!! thank Q! It's been 10 long days of creativity facilitation, this 2nd week was non stop brainstorming, clarification, communicating with impossible beings...but I found joy decorating my mind map, bringing back wonderful memories when friends visit me in Nyc. Below is just one of the many maps I drew when my mind drifted away while in class. Won't it make a wonderful travel diary?

Almost Famous

After an intense week of creativity facilitation course, got lazy and skipped my weekly pilates class since Nicole's away in India for a month's of Yoga. Flowers were blooming in the park, but it was still chilly. P2oodle paraded through the park in her red hoody. Almost everyone who walked past adored her, flashed their cameras and even asked to be in a picture together.

Alpha Beta Theta Delta

So, as many people ask what I do at my job, I have a hard time explaining completely and leave them with either a curious or puzzled look. I was busy with courses since I began work at Creativity Lab, from Faciliation, Creativity Education conferences to Neurolinguistic Programming, Brainwave assessment, Improvisational Theatre and the upcoming Creativity Facilitator Intensive training.

I've just been certified to perform brainwave evaluations recently, after a month's training, and learnt a great deal about the benefits of this assessment. In comparison to the Cerebellum assessment I performed at Dore for kids with learning difficulties, this brainwave assessment targets a larger population! Anyone's suitable for assessment to understand their brainwave movement, and improve brain functions. As an evaluator, I'll be able to assess the brain structure, a person's emotional control, current & future learning abilites, mental health, one's level of happiness, creativity, stress ..etc.. I was in half doubt how brainwave works in the beginning, until I was being tested and results revealed truth in it.

My brainwave results revealed a lack of energy, slight deterioration of my brain structure due to ongoing stress. Alpha- the happy wave revealed a moderate amount of happiness & creativity. Theta- revealed that I do have a sense of intuition, which I hardly ever trust, only after days, months or years later.... Beta- the logical wave revealed constant stress which I need to relief and needs a slight boost to maintain a fair balance between each wave-types.

All of us in class were prescribed with a therapeutic music CD according to our conditions to regulate our brainwaves, and we shall be re-tested again in 2 months time. In the mean time, I'm off to go listen to music!

Electropads are placed at prefrontal and at the back of our earlobes before testing begins.

Formosa Express Train Part 1

6 hours on the Formosa Express train ride, we arrived at Taitung~ Southern East part of Taiwan. This special train circles around the coast of Taiwan with spectacular mountain, ocean views, but 80% of the time was spent snoozing. Since it was a trial ticket, unlimited drinks were served by aboriginal dressed train attendants. Full service tickets would have included entertainment: such as KTV, hotel catered meals. By the time we arrived, it was already mid afternoon~ Charlie, our trip planner drove the rental car to our 1st destination "Lu-Yeh" moo moo ranch!
